Why did you decide to volunteer inside the jails? I want the men in prison know that their identity is founded on God’s love, truth and purpose for them, not by their past.
Is there a girl or boy you have connected with? Not yet. But I look forward to connecting personally with the men as I spend more time with them.
What skills do you have that make you successful in your service? I love God’s Word and the power of fellowship. I have spent many years facilitating discussions about the Bible within small groups.
What will change the climate of youth violence in Baltimore? It will take a number of changes, coming together, to help reduce the violence in Baltimore. Prayer and the sharing of God’s truth will definitely be two of those factors.
