Jamil is the Founder and Executive Director at Yieldcamp.org, a mental health organization that promotes and provides wellness through service and specializes in EnvironMental Stewardship – invasive removal, park/campground/trail creation, stormwater BMP creation and management, outdoor recreation and environmental volunteer opportunities all designed to simultaneously provide holistic healing, environmental entrepreneurship training, nature education and self sustainable practices. Jamil is great with the guys because he is compassionate, loves Jesus and is in the Word!

Why did you decide to volunteer inside the jails? It’s what we are called to do as believers.
What skills do you have that make you successful in your service? Certified Nature Informed Therapist, Counseling, Preaching, Teaching and Listening.
What will change the climate of youth violence in Baltimore? When God’s people, who are called by His name, humble themselves, pray, seek His face and turn from their wicked ways.
