Baltimore County Area Director
Kim Turner holds a Masters in Social Work specializing in Community Organizing from the University of Maryland. Her previous work experiences have shaped her current passions. These experiences include counseling youth in a shelter for runaways in Alabama, starting a parent advocacy group to fight lead paint poisoning, creating a pastor coalition to address race relations in the church, volunteering with Safe Streets to reduce community violence, and meeting young teens in the Baltimore City Detention Center awaiting their trials. Kim enjoys gathering people together for a great cause, a meaningful book, a fun vacation, or a spiritual accountability endeavor. Her stubborn optimism and her faith gives her the energy to address issues of brokenness, believing that God is all about restoration.
